Rori and Aaron reflect on the beautiful rise and tragic fall of Moviepass, and share their thoughts on it's return. They also review the first episode of the much anticipated prequel to Game of Thrones: the new HBO Max series HOUSE OF THE DRAGON.
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. When Aaron joined Moviepass in 2015 the service seemed groundbreaking and vital. He thought it would save the movie industry and movie theaters. But in 2018 when Moviepass suddenly dropped it's membership price to $10 per month, it felt too good to be true. And of course, it was. The company eventually imploded and went bankrupt. But now, nearly five years later, Moviepass is set for a comback. Rori and Aaron discuss their experiences with the service, and their hopes for its future.
And...after Game of Thrones finished with a disappointing final season, HBO is attempting a comeback of its own. HOUSE OF THE DRAGON premiered this past week and Rori and Aaron share their thoughts on the first episode.
